For coffee lovers, Haarlem is a pretty good place to be. There are a number of specialty coffee places that make some amazing coffee concoctions.
Below you’ll find a list of my favorite places for a cup of coffee in Haarlem, The Netherlands!
If you’re a coffee enthusiast, then you probably also like brunch. Check out my blog post about the best brunch places in Haarlem.
Mogador
This is my hands down my favorite spot for a cappuccino, as here it’s really just about the coffee. The place itself has got a nice vibe as well; it’s a cozy cafe to relax and sip on a cup of warm goodness. It’s located close to Hudson’s Bay in the center of the city. If you like having something sweet with your coffee, no worries! They also have a nice selection of cakes and pastries.
You can even get a quick espresso at the bar for just 1 euro, which you can down real quick like a true Italian. After all, that’s why it’s called Espresso!
And if you fancy learning all about the barista craftsmanship yourself: Mogador also offers a barista course! For more information, visit their website.

Native
Native is a cute little cafe, that has a funky looking logo and serves excellent coffee. In the weekends, it can be very full, though usually, you can find a little spot to squeeze in. They also serve breakfast and have a great selection of homemade cakes and other baked goods.

Mica Coffee Bar
This extremely cute coffee bar is located in a small street close to the city center of Haarlem. It’s run by two lovely ladies -sisters, actually – who really take care in brewing a nice cup of coffee. The coffee is served in beautiful cups that look like they are made of marble (which they are not of course, but it looks cool!). They also serve some homemade snacks and sweets, such as grilled cheese, cookies & cakes.

Vascobelo
Vascobelo is a cool cafe chain that serves coffee, breakfast and lunch and is situated right in the city center of Haarlem. The very fashionable waiters will tell you all about the coffee they serve, and if you like it, you can also buy the coffee beans they use. They also serve delicious sandwiches for brunch or lunch. If you do go here, also have a look at the awesome coffee machine that they use!

Brandmeesters B.V.
This one is actually a coffee roastery/shop, but they also have a small cafe inside the shop where you can have a seat and get a coffee. I haven’t actually tried the coffee yet, but I’m 99% sure that their coffee should be pretty good – they are a coffee roastery after all.
If you’re into coffee making, they also sell quite a big range of coffee making equipment such as coffee machines, pour over kits and of course, coffee beans.
