Digital Nomads Guide to Valencia, Spain
As you may know, we have moved to Valencia, Spain, about 4 years ago. We still thing it’s a beautiful place and a great city for digital nomads and remote workers.
Valencia is an amazing place - it has lovely weather all year round with many sunny days, a pretty beach, a beautiful and large park, a historic city center, not too many tourists and a lot of great restaurants and cafes.
It also boasts an expanding community of remote workers and digital nomads, with a healthy balance of some people staying here long term and others staying for just a couple of months.

Co-working Spaces
There are plenty of coworking places in Valencia, and new offices keep popping up as the remote worker community grows. Most of them also organize fun social activities amongst themselves.
Here is a list of the most popular ones:
Wayco Coworking - This is perhaps the most famous/popular one. There are two locations in Valencia: one is located in the city center and the other is Ruzafa.
COW in the Carmen - a small but quaint coworking space in El Carmen
Accommodation
Accommodation in Valencia is cheap compared to other cities like Barcelona and Madrid; but because of the recent influx of foreigners, rents are starting to rise here as well.
For long-term rentals, you can find a decent 2-bedroom apartment for around 600-1500 euros, depending on the area and the state of the apartment. You can have a look at idealista.es and habitaclia for apartment and house listings.
For short-term rentals, you can check out Airbnb, where you can rent a one-bedroom apartment for around 900-2000 euros a month, depending on the period. In the summer, it is obviously more expensive.
